After the huge success of this series of events in 2022, the Transit Shed will again be home to a jam-packed programme of fun and quirky activities for all the family. We will be bringing you full details closer to the time.

Literature Works

Clive PiG – aka Mister Storyfella, is a storyteller, poet, songster and potato juggler. Join us to hear his collection of laughable legends and fabulous folktales.

Prom Prom

Marvel and giggle in equal measure at flea circuses, street circus shows, storytelling, seaside games and much more besides – for the young and young at heart.

Willow Starfish Making

We are excited to welcome back the lovely people from Weird Sticks CIC, who will be helping make beautiful willow starfish to take home and hang in your bedroom. Just turn up, no booking required. This session replaces the previously advertised Story Trail, which is no longer able to take place.

Join Bird Box Theatre for exe-citing art and story workshops. With a break between 12.30pm and 1pm.

Willow Weaving with Weird Sticks CIC

Be inspired by the star and sun motifs found in the stained glass of Exeter Cathedral and create your own willow and wool spinning sun to hang in your window. These craft makes are fun to weave and you can use a wide range of colours to make your spinning sun a whizzing work of art.

Silly Squirrel Pop-up Show

Pull up a blanket and join Above Bounds Theatre for this playful pop-up show, with puppets, gentle interaction and lots of laughs! 0-7 years. All welcome.

This paid event was in addition to our main FREE programme and has now sold out. But please pop down and join in the Bird Box Theatre event between 10.30am and 3.30pm today when you can enjoy storytelling and art activities themed around the birds of the quay.

Quayside Giants Carnival Workshops & Processions

Join creative workshops to bring to life Exeter’s Whirlwind Giant and all those that dance in his wake. Get swept up in this event and become the stars of the show in the procession around the quay.
