Quayside Shanty & Heritage Harbour Festival 2026

***Save the Date***

Exeter’s Quayside Shanty & Heritage Harbour Festival returns on Saturday 12 September 2026.

Expect another fantastic day and evening of folk songs of the sea, performed by some colourful characters and suitable for all the family. Save the date for more seafarin’ shenanigans on and around Exeter’s Heritage Harbour.

This year we will have more than 20 shanty bands including Exmouth Shanty Men, Hot Tuna, Bow Movement, Back Beach Boyz, Beached Buoys, Barrett’s Privateers, Stern Maidens, Hooligans Rule, Bradley the Solo Shantyman, Woodbury Whalers, Midsummer Gurnards, Wonky Doneys, The Jolly Grogsters, Cask, and Barrel Seagulls.

Please note, we will be announcing the full set times and locations shortly.

Please note that our friends at Samuel Jones are holding various event to help keep the event free. Do support them if you can.
