Family willow star workshop
Description
Children’s Willow star workshop 10th Dec
Join willow sculptor Vik Westaway from Weird Sticks CIC and learn and how to create your own Illuminated Willow Star Wand. This simple drop in family workshop is great fun, giving even little ones the chance to weave a bit of festive magic. In this family friendly workshop you’ll learn how to make a star wand with local sourced and sustainable willow. You’ll have the option to weave the star with willow or beautiful wools and finally decorate it with pretty fairy lights.
Vik has created sculptures for RHS Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Show to name but a few, regularly exhibiting her work both locally and nationally. Vik loves to educate and inspire others to use willow in innovative and original ways
Ticket Prices: £7 per wand
