Punch with a Twist: Family Show

Led by the University of Exeter, this series presents a Punch & Judy show like none you have seen before.

Roll up, roll up! Come to see a Punch & Judy like none you have seen before. 

Ms Judy takes centre stage as she navigates Mr Punch’s shenanigans, police harassment and questions their 360-year relationship. The Devil and their right-hand man, Dorothy, are sure to delight but in the end are thwarted in their mission to bring Mr Punch and Ms Judy to hell leaving everything right beside the seaside. 

Nephew Spike Bones’ Punch & Judy was developed as part of The Judy Project(Opens in new window) with funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 101020076, the Society for Theatre Research and the University of Exeter’s Public Engagement with Research fund. It is being implemented at the University of Exeter’s Drama Department.

This event takes place under the Transit Shed (in front of the Custom House), there is no need to book, just turn up.

This event is part of the Punch with a Twist series led by University of Exeter.
