Exeter’s 2024 Heritage Harbour Festival will be featuring a range of walks and talks as part of its overall programme

Wednesday 5th June

The Train Now Arriving – How the arrival of the railways and steam engines changed Exeter.

The talk will also explain the important links between Exeter’s Canal Basin, steam power and coal.  The talk is linked to the celebration of steam power on ‘Steam Sunday’ as part of the Heritage Harbour celebrations. – John Davidson

Please note, this is an Exeter Forum Talk at The Mint Methodist Church – 10.45am. A charge of £4 will be made for non-Forum members.
