Our Cultural Partners at Literature Works celebrate seven year’s of delivering Quay Words at the Exeter Custom House
After spending seven years bringing the Custom House to life with words and stories, Literature Works will be celebrating the end of Quay Words in its current form. Expect a jam-packed week of events, workshops and an exhibition of the brilliant writing that’s sprung from their time on the Quayside.
The writer-in-residence will be Jack Sanderson-Thwaite, who will be drawing together the themes of the programme as part of the final Reflections exhibition with his project The Infinity of Lists. You can read more about Jack here.
Alongside the exhibition they’ll be hosting a week-long festival events from 2nd-10th May, including a fiction workshop with Monique Roffey on 2nd May and a poetry workshop with Anthony Joseph on 9th May. They’ll also have author events with the brilliant Patrick Gale on 6th May, Raymond Antrobus on 7th May, and Anthony Joseph on 8th May.
