Quay Words presents :Writing Aloud with Malaika Kegode

A brand new programme of writing workshops for writers aged 16-19 here at the Exeter Custom House.

Pay what you can writing workshops this April – book your place now.

Writing Aloud will be a holistic journey into writing words that deserve to be heard.

Maybe you have poems, stories, characters or lyrics in your head, but struggle to get them out into the world.

Maybe revision and exams have taken the fun out of writing, and you want to rediscover it.

Maybe you want to meet people who love discovering new worlds through reading and storytelling as much as you do.

If any of this sounds familiar, join poet, performer and playwright Malaika Kegode for Writing Aloud, a brand new writing programme developed by Literature Works & Quay Words for writers aged 16 – 19 at Custom House Exeter.

Drawing inspiration from Spoken Word as a starting point, writers will learn tips and techniques to unlock their creativity and honour their artistic selves.

Book your place (pay what you can) on the Quay Words website here

Please Note: We require contact details for a parent or guardian for anyone attending who is under the age of 18. Please fill in the questionnaire when you go to book your place.
